At PlotManager, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your personal information.
PlotManager is operated by Geo Media Concepts Ltd, a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We can be contacted at legal@plotmanager.ng for any privacy-related queries.
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account including your full name, company name, email address and phone number. We also collect information about how you heard about us. When you use the platform we collect estate data, plot information and buyer details that you upload. We automatically collect usage data including log data, device information, browser type and IP address when you access our platform.
We use your information to provide and improve the PlotManager service, to communicate with you about your account and our service, to process payments and manage your subscription, to send important service notifications, to respond to your support requests and to analyse usage patterns to improve our platform. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
The estate data, plot information and buyer details you upload to PlotManager belong to you. We store this data securely to provide you with the service. We do not sell, rent or share your estate data with any third parties. When you delete your account, your estate data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
When you share a public map link, the plot information displayed on that map becomes publicly accessible to anyone with the link. You control what information appears on your public maps. Buyer names, phone numbers and payment details are never shown on public maps — only plot numbers, area sizes, asking prices and availability status.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform including Supabase for database and file storage, Vercel for hosting and Paystack for payment processing. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
All payment processing is handled by Paystack. We do not store your card details on our servers. Paystack is PCI DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption to protect your payment information. Please refer to Paystack's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment data.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Your data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS and stored securely in our database. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days. We may retain certain information for longer periods where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. You have the right to correct inaccurate information. You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. PlotManager uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser but disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the platform.
PlotManager is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Your continued use of PlotManager after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
